CasioWith the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward. See more

I have had this watch for about three weeks now. It is a beautiful looking watch! The characteristics I want to point out to potential buyers are size and clasping system. The features listed didn't include the size of the face and when I recieved the watch it was smaller than I expected, if you have a thin wrist this watch is perfect for you. Also, the clasping system leaves a little to be desired, it is functional for now but I won't be surprised if it fails in less time than normal. Overall, I would say that if you have a small to medium sized wrist and face size is a factor you have to consider, than this watch will look nice on you. I paid $125 with shipping and I am very happy with it, (as long as the clasping system doesn't become a problem).Fantastic value on a great looking and functional watch. I am a longtime fan of Seiko and their Coutura line of timepieces. I got a great deal on this watch making it a fantastic value. The watch feels well constructed and has kept perfect time since I took it out if the box. Amazon came through with another great vendor and product. So far this watch has been great. It keeps time, and doesn't let water. You can only adjust the band length by taking out links so you can't finely adjust it but that hasn't been a problem for me. I didn't realize it when I ordered it, but my dad has the same exact watch that has lasted for ten years now so it should last a long time.Had this watch a few weeks and it is the most accurate watch I have ever owned. It is always dead on with the time service. Not a extra large watch but the right size.If you are looking in this price range you probably want do any better.Pictures don't do the watch justice.Very well made.No problems with the band here. This was a smoking deal for the money. It's a good looking watch with a sapphire crystal. So, where are the compromises? I have only worn it a couple of times and the back of the band (where your wrist would rest on the desk) is scratched and I think Im pretty careful. The other area that I would question is the clasping system that could apprear to be a weak link over time---but keep in mind, I am not an expert on clasping systems, it is only my opinion. However, lets get to the bottom line. This watch has a $260 retail price. It has the looks. It has a sapphire crystal. For $119 its a steal.Work by my father-in-law, in the sand, ocean, ice fishing, you name it. Still going strong and looking great.
